Ryder Finalizing Cast of Adam & Eve Comedy 'Love Emergency'

HOLLWOOD—Casting is underway for new Adam & Eve Pictures comedy Love Emergency from writer/director Will Ryder and co-producer Scott David.

Riley Steele and Tommy Pistol have already been cast in lead roles for the project, along with supporting players Brad Armstrong, Sarah Vandella, Misty Stone, James Bartholet and Frank Bukkwyd.

"I prefer to have some of my favorite go-to actors play these main characters especially if we're gonna be funny," Ryder said, noting that a number of newer performers will be joining the cast as well, including Savannah Sixx, Liv Wild, Scarlett Bloom and 2019 AVN Best Actress nominee Kenzie Reeves.

"What makes this talent process so special and difficult is that we're sharing a few locations with a separate as-of-yet untitled movie that is also being shot for Adam & Eve, so we're casting a lot of people and we're gonna mix and match," David revealed.

"In other words we need a lot of bodies because much of Love Emergency takes place in a bustling hospital emergency room," Ryder added.

As to what fans can expect from his latest foray into comedy, Ryder promised, "This movie is going to be hilarious and so well-written you'll think I was dating Shonda Rhimes, creator of Grey's Anatomy."

Previous award-winning comedies from Ryder and David include Bad Babes Inc. and Love, Sex & TV News.

"I think Love Emergency will be the funniest, most polished feature movie comedy the adult industry has ever seen," Ryder predicted, "but I guess we'll find out when they hand out the awards next year, and even then we may never know for sure."

The director is looking to fill the role of a male side-kick to Tommy Pistol's character who still lives in his parents' basement. "I'm looking for a male 25-35 or so that can play silly, goofy and playful almost in a stoned way, but a guy that can pretend to be wicked smart with computers and hacking." Interested actors or agents may contact Ryder, but casting closes shortly.
