Ron Jeremy Stars in 'American Hustle' Spoof

HOLLYWOOD—Ron Jeremy lends his comedic talents to a role that would appear to be a British version of himself in British Hustle, one of the parody shorts of the Academy Awards' Best Picture nominees (other send-ups include The Fox of Wall Street, 12 Days a Stripper, Knobraska and Cavity) playing at the seventh annual Toscars Awards Show, a parody itself of the entire Oscars ceremony.

Jeremy's turn in the Toscars' goof on American Hustle landed him recently on The New York Post's Page Six, which wrote that the short finds him "keeping his clothes on to play the equivalent of the Christian Bale con-man role—and delivering his lines in a British accent."

As part of the Toscars presentation, taking place February 26 at Hollywood's historic Egyptian Theatre, Jeremy will also be in contention for the statuette—known as the Golden Fist—for "Best Whactor" in recognition of his Hustle performance.

"I've always been more of a giver than a receiver. But after all my adult movie awards, it would be great to win a prize for comedy acting," Jeremy told Page Six.
