CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Industry sales veteran Robert Plarski returns to the company where he got his start as New Sensations/Digital Sin's new vice president of global sales, taking over for Belle Casten-Taylor, who has moved into a new executive role with the company.
"It was a difficult decision for me to leave sales, but I know we found the perfect fit with Rob," Casten-Taylor said. "I am confident he'll do great things here!"
Offered Plarski, who leaves his longtime position with Pulse Distribution for the job, "I am super excited to be back at New Sensations/Digital Sin. Working with [president] Scott Taylor and his team will be awesome and growing with his company is a tremendous opportunity. I am grateful to Scott and the New Sensations/Digital Sin team—Belle Casten-Taylor, Eddie Powell, Renae Engelhart, Janet Rini ... it all feels like home again!"
Plarski entered the industry in 2000 as a sales rep for New Sensations/Digital Sin. Among his new duties with the company, he will oversee foreign and domestic DVD sales, as well as VOD and licensing for all New Sensations/Digital Sin productions.
"We welcome Robert back with open arms," Taylor commented. "He has some very big shoes to fill in his position, but I am very confident he is the right man for the job."
