CYBERSPACE—The connection between the National Football League and the adult entertainment industry may not be obvious, but there is at least an occasional mutual admiration between certain NFL players and porn performers—an admiration that was on display this week when the online gossip site TMZ bumped into Richelle Ryan and cornered the outspoken football fan for a brief woman-on-the street interview while she was on a media tour in New York City last week.
TMZ just had to know, in Ryan’s professional opinion, which current NFL player shows the most promise if he sought a post-football career in porn.
Despite that fact that, when TMZ cornered Ryan for a similar impromptu interview last year, the star of Big Tit Teachers named New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham as a player she would like to “tame,” the die-hard Giants fans looked north to rival New England Patriots for her best porn prospect—picking six-foot-six, 265-pound Patriots superstar tight end Rob Gronkowski as her player most likely to make the leap.
“He’s just a total frat boy and a playboy. He just wants to have fun,” Ryan explained of the 28-year-old, four-time All-Pro receiver. “He’s just awesome. He’s just big, all around. A total party boy.”
Ryan also felt that Gronkowski’s nickname, “Gronk,” would be a perfect moniker for his projected porn career—no name change necessary.
While Gronkowski, despite frequent injuries that have shortened three of his seven NFL seasons prior to 2017, probably has several years of his football career remaining, Ryan’s instincts apparently weren’t far off. Gronkowski has already shown at least some affinity for the adult industry.
In 2011 he was forced to apologize publicly, as well as directly to Patriots owner Robert Kraft, after a picture of a shirtless Gronkowski hanging out with now-retired adult performer Bibi Jones surfaced online—with the Dirty Teen Fuck Machine star wearing Gronk’s iconic Number 87 Patriots jersey.
