LOS ANGELES—Rebeca Linares admits she missed being immersed in the adult business.

So almost 13 years after beginning an extended hiatus during which she started a family, the Spanish fan favorite tells AVN she’s coming back in a big way—not because she needs to, but because she wants to.

“I remember my six years as an actress and I have a lot of fun and I meet a lot of people and I kind of miss that,” Linares says. “I can make another business or I can come back to this business, so I decide I want to have fun. I miss the people… I miss the experiences. Sometimes people say, oh, is porn the last option? I will say not really. My last option will be any other option like a regular job.”

The now blonde Linares says there’s an “excitement” that comes from doing porn that makes the adult industry unlike anything else in the world.

“I like meeting people in the business. You really kind of grow with them,” Rebeca says. “I learn a lot from them. It’s not only performing in the scene.”

She continues, “I used to go with Steve Holmes, Erik Everhard, Ramon [Nomar], Manuel [Ferrara], it was like they were big brothers. They always take care of me, giving me advice. I know it’s a lot of new people now and that kind of makes it exciting.”

A veteran of almost 700 sex scenes from 2005 to 2011, Linares says she is “a little bit nervous” about diving in again, but at the same time, she’s never been more ready.

She did her first full boy/girl studio scene with Alex Mack in December for Bang!. Rebeca says she met Mack a couple times when she was on the set with her longtime collaborator—veteran producer/director Chris Streams.

“For the companies that haven’t shot her before and don’t know who she is, they’re about to find out,” Streams tells AVN. “She’s still a little ball of fire and she is fired up and ready to go.”

And Linares says for those companies who already have shot her, “they’re gonna have to book me again for new stuff.”

Linares started her OnlyFans a few months ago and at press time was in the process of ramping up her content. But she says her focus is on making an impact again in mainstream porn. So she has signed with OC Modeling for bookings.

“I don’t want to do only OnlyFans. Doing mainstream is more important, but I will still do content, too.”

Linares teased her fans for weeks on social media, telling them that by Christmas time they would have a new boy/girl scene.

“They’re waiting impatiently,” she jokes. “They all keep saying to work with Dredd. He is such a gentleman. He’s so big, but when he holds you and talks to you it’s like he’s touching a flower.”

Rebeca says she received a Dredd replica dildo as a gift and that she’s been playing with it in anticipation of an encounter in the not-so-distant future.

“I got half of it in,” she cracks.

Streams jokes that “when you get to three-quarters of it in, then we’ll set the date.”

Rebeca says she would like to work with Gia Derza this year.

“I see her doing anal stuff and I’m impressed with that girl,” Rebeca says. “What she’s capable to do and how she plays with those big toys, it’s like wow girl.”

Linares at press time also had a content date set with Spanish heartthrob Maximo Garcia, a nominee for the 2024 AVN Male Performer of the Year award.

“I’m still small and teeny,” says Linares, adding that she still wears the same size jeans as she did when she left the business.

Born in the Basque Country region of Spain, Linares moved to Barcelona with her mom when she was 4. She stayed in the Spanish capital until she was 21 before coming to LA to go full force into adult.

Linares tells AVN she studied marketing for seven years and became a top seller on Amazon while she was on her performing hiatus.

“It was not that fun to be in the office working,” she says. “I was selling on Amazon and doing marketing for other companies.”

When Linares started her career in Spain she recalls shooting about 40 scenes in the span of a year. During her first year in America, she performed in 40 scenes in one month.

She began working when she was 16, taking jobs as a supermarket cashier, at a retail store and at a logistical warehouse that does packing and shipping.

Linares often did 16-hour days before getting into the porn business.

“I know what a regular job is like,” Rebeca recalls. “I thought there has to be a better way to produce good money and live life and have a good experience. I was a big fan of porn. I used to watch porn.

“I was a big fan of Nacho [Vidal] and then I meet Nacho. One of my girlfriends knew him and she introduced me and that’s how I get into the business. He was kind of like my mentor.”
