LOS ANGELES—Adult performer Raven Bay, who worked for such blue chip labels as Digital Playground, Penthouse, Adam & Eve Pictures, Wicked Pictures, Girlfriends Films and more during her roughly eight-year career, died October 2 at the age of 31, AVN has confirmed with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.
Bay's death was reported late Monday on Twitter by friend Kamilah Ferrari, who posted, "It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the passing of Raven Bay. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Talented, smart, kind, and such an amazing friend that I had the honor of knowing for almost a decade. May she rest in peace."
Her cause of death was not known at press time, and the case is currently under "additional investigation," according to the coroner's report.
Bay entered the adult industry in 2012 and continued to appear in releases through 2020, according to the Internet Adult Film Database (IAFD.com), though how actively she shot scenes is unclear. Some of her most notable credits include Stryker (Digital Playground), Untamed Heart (Adam & Eve), Sex Symbols (Airerose Entertainment) and In the Flesh (Skow for Girlfriends Films).
