CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Adult star Raven Alexis, a 2011 AVN Awards nominee for Best New Starlet, discussed her current fight with stage four cancer in a Monday segment on Howard 100 News, heard hourly on Howard Stern's Sirius/XM network (channel 100).
Diagnosed with the disease in early summer, Alexis learned just days ago that it has spread to her brain, and she has been undergoing intense chemotherapy treatment in an effort to stop its progression.
"Chemo is hard ... not eating is really hard," Alexis told Howard 100's Jon Leiberman. "Some days are really good, some days are really bad."
Alexis became a favorite among the Stern crew following a 2010 appearance on the program during which she put on a memorable show as the 123rd rider of the infamous Sybian, with its inventor, Dave Lampert, controlling the device.
"It's shocking when anyone young and beautiful and full of life gets a disease like this," Stern associate producer Jason Kaplan commented in the piece. Added another staffer, "We love Raven Alexis here on the show. The girl was a home run. She's very sweet, and truly it is sad."
In closing the report, Lieberman noted, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Raven Alexis."

Alexis offered a follow-up statement to AVN about her circumstances, saying she wished to convey "how much I appreciate my new fiancé, my fans, and every one of my industry fellows who have been so kind."
