Pulse Distribution today announced the hiring of Robert Plarski as vice president of sales. The announcement follows the recent move of Ted LeVine to head up Pulse's newly formed Novelty division, highlighed by the recently announced exclusive distribution agreement for Falcon Gear.
Plarski will be joining Janet T. in Pulse's DVD division. Janet will oversee the distribution of Pulse's gay studios, including Falcon Studios, Mustang, Jocks, High Octane, StraightCollegeMen.com, Massive Studio and Blue Lights View. Plarski's will be representing all of Pulse's straight brands, including Club DVD, Burning Angel Entertainment, Lennox Films, InPulse Pictures, Swank Digital and Pulse Pictures (the production arm of the company, which also includes co-productions with Jekyll & Hyde and Club Cytherea).
"We're thrilled to have Robert on board at Pulse," said Pulse co-owner Mark Hamilton. "Rob established a great reputation in the industry at his former companies, and we're glad he chose to come back to the industry with us."
After a two-year hiatus working in the mortgage industry, Plarski said, "I am extremely excited about the opportunities here at Pulse Distribution. They have an awesome product line and an incredible support staff."
Plarski previously spent three years at Digital Sin/New Sensations. Additionally, he helped build Northstar Associates.
"I have been extremely fortunate with the companies I have worked with before," Plarski added. "I owe a lot to Scott, Richie and Peter for teaching me and letting me grow with their companies, and I'm really looking forward to working for Jim Kohls and Mark Hamilton."
