BARCELONA - Private has set a November release for the first installment of Billionaire, director Alessandro Del Mar's big-budget follow up to his XXX epic Millionaire.
Two years in the making, the international production was shot in Guadalupe, Cannes, Budapest and the Mayotte islands in the Indian Ocean. The movie follows explorer and treasure hunter Jack Duval as he travels the globe in search of the "Eye of Destiny," a lost ancient artifact purported to give its holder the power to see the future.
"I think that a lot of people are now tired of the same low-budget, gonzo style films and are looking around for something with substance and humor and of course, sex," said Del Mar. "It is great to work for Private who still produces classy high budget movies. Billionaire took a long time to produce but was great fun and with a stunning harem of girls who were all a pleasure to work with."
"Billionaire" stars 10 gorgeous European starlets, including Tarra White (pictured), Simony Style, Renata Black, Jessica Moore, Sahara, Sonia Red, Loona, Kathy and Josset Moss.
Billionaire 2 is set for release in spring 2009.
