LOS ANGELES—Porn star Capri Anderson is the woman who was with Charlie Sheen in his swanky New York hotel room yesterday when the actor flew into a booze-fueled rage.
According to a report on TMZ.com, Anderson met Sheen for the first time at The Plaza Hotel’s bar. She then went to dinner with the star of Two and a Half Men as part of a larger group. Sheen’s former wife Denise Richards also briefly attended the dinner.
The 22-year-old Anderson, formerly known as Alexis Capri, has mostly shot lesbian sex scenes, and got her start in the adult entertainment business roughly two years ago. She’s shot for many major companies, including Adam & Eve, Hustler Video, New Sensations, Girlfriends Films and Vivid Entertainment.
Anderson reportedly has told friends that she’s upset about being branded as an escort or prostitute and contends that she is neither. Sources have told TMZ that is was Anderson who called hotel security during Sheen’s outburst and was “extremely afraid” of the actor.
Sheen, who’s dated porn stars in the past, most notably, Ginger Lynn, caused more than $7,000 worth of damage to his room in The Plaza after a drinking binge that resulted in damage to curtains, tables, lighting fixtures and broke glass.
Anderson also maintains an official web presence through the MediumPimpin.com affiliate program at ClubCapriAnderson.com. Medium Pimpin Vice President Mailman told AVN.com that Anderson is active on her site and that she recently shot for it in San Francisco during the summer.
"When Capri told us the news the day after this happened, we were first and foremost concerned about her safety and well being," Mailman said. "Thankfully she is OK and we figured it would then just be a question of not if but when the mainstream media would grab ahold of this and put her name out there all over the place.
"Capri and the rest of the team here at Medium Pimpin feel that this is now a great opportunity where she was actually in the right place at the right time. We of course expect traffic to her site and internet searches for her name to skyrocket over the next several days as attention to her continues to grow."
Medium Pimpin owner Kevin believes that now is the perfect time to promote Anderson's official site while media attention on the star is peaking.
"You'd have to be crazy to not get some Club Capri Anderson galleries up ASAP and take advantage of all the traffic you will be getting," he said. "With all the mainstream press and searches Capri is going to be getting in the upcoming days, it would just be money left on the table otherwise."
