Porn Shoot Inside Classic Aircraft Museum Sparks ‘Outrage’ in UK

A porn production company that goes by the name of Banged Air somehow managed to film a hardcore scene inside a rented vintage aircraft at the Midland Air Museum in the English city of Coventry. According to Britain’s Sun tabloid, the shoot took place during the museum’s regular hours, even as aviation enthusiasts visiting the museum—causing “outrage” in the U.K.

The company reportedly paid all of £100, or about $130, to rent the plane for an afternoon. When one museum staffer tried to find out what was going on inside the nearly 70-year-old plane, he was told that all of the activity was nothing more than a “swimwear” photo shoot, according to the Sun.

“This group arrived wearing pilot uniforms and the like but that is not unusual as some people do re-enactments,” museum manager Diane James told the paper.  “If we had known what was going on we would have stopped it immediately. They have hoodwinked us.”

The shoot starred Christina May, Emily Blake and Bethany Adams as “stewardesses” from the golden age of commercial aviation—along with two male co-stars as the “pilots.”

The shoot took place inside a refurbished Vickers Viscount—the same model of aircraft seen in the photo at the top of this page. The British-made plane is credited with being the first turboprop airliner, with 445 manufactured between 1948 and 1963.

A turboprop airliner powers its propellers with jet engines, as opposed to the piston-driven propellers that came before it. The turboprop provided a smoother, quieter flight—perfect for the jet setting vacationers who would have flown in the Vickers Viscount back in the Mad Men era.
