Pleasure Chest Hiring for General Manager West Position

LOS ANGELES—The Pleasure Chest announced it is looking for a new general manager to be based out of its flagship West Hollywood location.
 
Since 1971, the Pleasure Chest has supported the community's sexual growth and exploration by pioneering a sex positive culture, with an emphasis on education, enjoyment, and inclusivity. The Pleasure Chest said it is currently looking for "a highly qualified candidate who can demonstrate exemplary performance in the General Manager responsibilities outlined below within the guidelines of the sex positive culture we embrace above." 

The General Manager West position will oversee operations and provide supervision and leadership support to the company's flagship location, E-Commerce and Shipping and Receiving teams. A member of the well-established Pleasure Chest National Management Team, the General Manager will be working closely with the local leadership team as a liaison to the national management team and reporting directly to the Head of Business Operations and Owner. The General Manager's main responsibilities will include supervision of store and departmental management teams including HR, Benefits Admin and Payroll for the West Hollywood store, E-comm, S/R and Office teams, national IT and Systems Maintenance oversight, as well as operational and high level administrative support to all departments. 

A qualified candidate will possess 3-5 years management experience (district or multi-departmental management experience is ideal), prior policy and benefits administration experience, and IT, Operations, and Systems Maintenance experience.

The General Manager is a full-time, salaried position with health and PTO benefits, flex schedule possibilities with some night, weekend and travel requirements.
