PARIS—Playboy TV has tapped leading European company Marc Dorcel to manage its television business in multiple overseas regions, effective May 1.
The deal, which includes linear channel programming, exclusive distribution and management of VOD content, will cover Europe (except UK, Spain and Portugal), Africa and the Middle East.
"As Playboy TV explored potential partners, Marc Dorcel was the clear choice to program Playboy TV Europe to meet the high expectations of our viewers while leveraging their vast industry experience to enhance the channel for the local market," Playboy TV president Gary Rosenson said. "Marc Dorcel also brings to the partnership strong relationships with local operators to ensure the channel delivers the experience expected of the brand."
The programming offered under the deal will include the best of Playboy TV's content library, as well as select Marc Dorcel titles.
