Pipedream Products Acquires Las Vegas Novelties

Pipedream Products has acquired Las Vegas Novelties, and will begin shipping the company’s current lines immediately.

Since its inception in 1999, Las Vegas Novelties has created innovative products with top adult stars such as Jewel DeNyle, Ron Jeremy, and the company’s owner, Serenity. But with Pipedream, which has been in the novelty business for 30 years, the company anticipates reaching a new level.

“We’re very excited about this,” Pipedream COO Nick Orlandino said. “This acquisition has afforded us the opportunity to get into the rubber business, which we’ve never been in before. It’s been great working with Serenity and Steve Lane on this whole project. They’ve accomplished a great deal with LVNI, and we look forward to building on their already amazing accomplishments.”

Orlandino started talking with Serenity and Lane – Serenity’s husband and business partner – at last year’s Adult Novelties Manufacturer’s Expo about the acquisition, which brought about negotiations in the fall. After finalizing the details at the end of March, both Serenity and Lane felt pleased with the agreement, noting that it benefits all involved.

"We signed with Nick because I would only agree to a deal on any level if it was good for my talent and good for myself and Serenity,” Lane said. “The deal with Pipedream was done because it was a good negotiating period, it was a good deal for us, and a good deal for all and our existing talent. We couldn't be happier with the arrangement."

The company will now be a part of Pipedream’s growing list of branded lines, such as Seymore Butts Toyz and Red Light District Toys, and Lane and Serenity will be closely involved with the transition.

“Steve and I will be involved in helping Pipedream get up and running on the rubber manufacturing and we’ll always be on board to help out with anything in regards to the line, but this will for sure close a chapter,” Serenity said.

As for the LVNI contract stars, Orlandino says they’re looking forward to developing new products with the talent roster they have available. LVNI contract star Jacklyn Lick is pleased to be working at her new home.

“My run with LVNI was for six years, and I’m really excited to sign another five-year contract with Pipedream,” Lick said. “I’m excited about the acquisition because it was a good move for everyone, and I’m excited to see where Pipedream takes me. We’re in the process of developing a whole new product line for me, so I hope to see a lot of new products come out.”

“This is a nice team to collaborate with, and they’re doing a great job,” Ron Jeremy said. “I like Seymore Butts a lot. He’s in my documentary and I’m in his movies, so that’s a great fit.”
