SAN FRANCISCO—Pink and White Productions has debuted the queer and trans porn director crossover project Fucking Different XXX and Fucking Different XXY, directed and produced by Kristian Petersen Filmproduktion, on its PinkLabel.TV streaming service.
The Fucking Different series is comprised of more than 60 short projects that address issues of inequality, difference and cliché found within international queer communities. Fucking Different XXX and XXY are the two specifically adult-focused titles within the series, and may be found here.
In Fucking Different XXX, eight prominent gay and lesbian filmmakers (Maria Beatty, Bruce LaBruce, Jürgen Brüning, Emilie Jouvet, Manuela Kay, Kristian Petersen, Courtney Trouble and Todd Verow) present the “other” sex and their erotic adventures. Each director brings their own personal touch to diverse locations which include New York, Berlin, Paris and San Francisco.
In Fucking Different XXY, an international ensemble of seven transgender filmmakers (J. Jackie Baier, Mor Vital, Buck Angel, Felix Endara, KAy Garnellen, Gwen Haworth and Jasco Viefhues) present short films about aspects of sexuality which are alien to them. The mixture is colorful and diverse and includes documentary contributions from pornographic directors as well as experimental approaches by Baier and Haworth, who come from a documentary background. The movie made its premiere at Berlinale in 2014.
The series attempts to overturn stereotypes about the “other” and what’s “normal”—stereotypes which also exist in the queer community.
