PinkLabel to Stream Athens Porn Film Festival

ATHENS, Greece — PinkLabel.TV will stream “Satyrs and Maenads: The Athens Porn Film Festival” from May 22 to 24, featuring porn shorts from Greece and Cyprus.

The festival was set to debut with more than 85 international films, but will now present a number of Greek porn shorts over 48 hours online only. To watch, visit PinkLabel.TV.

“The festival wants to bring the world of artistic porn to Athens, where its main goal is not only sexual arousal,” said Festival Director Menelas. “Porn can inform, entertain, and educate. It can expand issues such as gender, sexuality, and our personal identity. It can raise awareness, and be political, and of course fun!”

The Greek independent porn community will be featured with five films from Greece and Cyprus, including two world premieres and the first BDSM film from Cyprus. The program will be available with Greek and English subtitles.

“Since the Greek government does not subsidize artists and sex workers in these difficult times, we decided to give 10 percent of the profits to each film and the remaining 50 percent to Red Umbrella Athens,” Menelas said.

The event on PinkLabelTV will be led by presenter Melita Skambo will feature five short films that will not be screened together at the festival, but will also include online tutorials, BDSM, a focus on the clitoris, magic orgies in caves and a comedy porn parody, all lasting about 62 minutes.
