Pink & White Productions Reboots PinkLabel.tv

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—Aficionados of indie porn have cause to celebrate, now that San Francisco-based adult film company Pink and White Productions has relaunched its video-on-demand website, PinkLabel.tv.

An online hub for independent and emerging adult filmmakers, PinkLabel.tv offers revenue and resources for content creators and provides a paysite for fans who want to watch adult content in a way that supports the evolution of ethical erotica.

Company director Shine Louise Houston was inspired to create the site after attending the Berlin PornFilmFestival. She lamented that many of the creative, explicit films she saw were not online or accessible to a broader audience. PinkLabel’s intent is to support new filmmakers who do not know how to pursue digital distribution, or whose works may be too experimental for traditional porn sites but too pornographic for mainstream platforms. By providing digital distribution, education and other resources, PinkLabel.tv aims to incubate an alternative, global adult film community.

PinkLabel.tv's new, mobile-responsive features improve the experience for viewers and studios alike. Visitors browse more than 500 movies in Netflix-esque genre categories such as “Boygasms: masculine sex appeal,” “Porno Vérité: adult documentaries,” or “The Feminist Porn Gaze.” Customers can use CCBill Pay to rent films or join the new PinkLabel PLUS membership, through which they can access content on the easy-to-navigate site.

Filmmakers benefit from technical and customer support, studio reporting, a generous revenue model and affiliate program and an e-newsletter. Pink & White also offers an Adult Filmmaker Resources blog, full of announcements for film festivals, casting calls, crowdfunding, “CrashCourse” filmmaker advice videos and workshops, sexual health resources, and other articles of interest.
