Performer/Agent Danny Dukes Found Dead

CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Performer and agent Danny Dukes was found dead in a San Fernando Valley home today. He was 33.

“I couldn’t believe it when they called me and said he was dead,” Dukes' friend Will Powers told AVN. “I was really in disbelief. I had just hung out with him a couple hours earlier. But I went over to the house and saw the coroner throwing the sheet over him and wheeling him out. He was one of the most likeable guys you could ever know. He was very personable and would always make you laugh."

Although initial reports claimed he died of a drug overdose, Dukes' actual cause of death was kidney failure.

“Danny could drink, but he certainly didn’t normally do a lot of drugs,” said Powers.

Duke started performing in 2002. He primarily did content for the internet, but was also featured in a handful of titles for companies such as Hustler, Evil Angel, Evasive Angles and Wicked Pictures. Later, he worked as a talent agent.

“I’ve been in the industry for five years now, and you start to see a lot of people who think they’re like Mick Jaggers,” continued Powers. “Danny never thought he was a rock star or anything, but this really serves as a cautionary tale for people getting into the business.

“Danny was a really well-liked guy, and he’ll certainly be missed,” said Powers.
