Penthouse Names MsPuiYi Its January Pet of the Month

LOS ANGELESPenthouse Magazine has named beauty entrepreneur MsPuiYi as its January Pet of the Month. She is also featured on the cover of the January/February “Pet of the Year Issue."

The honor is the culmination of a coordinated international effort that has been in the making since last February.

“I’m super excited!" MsPuiYi said. “After such a long time staying mum, the time has finally come to show the world the incredible project we have been working on.”

Adorned in white lingerie on the publication’s cover, and sporting her signature Penthouse key, the founder of Ms Pui Yi Cosmetics reveals why the cover shoot and pictorial were so important to her. “I wanted to pose for Penthouse because to me, it's a personal achievement," she said. "From being an Instagram-er to Penthouse cover girl and Pet of the Month, this recognition means a lot to me!"

With millions on TikTok and Instagram following her, MsPuiYi has evolved from model to influencer, successful business owner, and now to Penthouse Pet. "I felt super stoked when I received a message via social media from Penthouse,” she explained. “In fact I approached it professionally, and at the same time very cautiously, making sure we were talking to the right person.”

Manager Charmaine Wang said MsPuiYi’s cautious optimism was for good reason. “She was once blackmailed by someone who fixed her computer. They found nudes on her computer when she sent it for repair.” The story of how MsPuiYi’s social media accounts were later hacked, which led to extortion, and her decision to model nude publicly, is detailed as part of a new documentary on her YouTube Channel.

“Instead of being blackmailed, she chose to go against the odds and become an OnlyFans creator,” Wang said. “It's good inspiration for girls not to give up!”

The January Penthouse Pet, who describes herself as an “adventurous, creative risk-taker," said she aspires to provide educational scholarships in the future to students who need them, and continue to build her cosmetics empire. She also expressed her gratitude to Sam Phillips, Director of Pet Projects, and the entire Penthouse team for helping to make her photo shoot possible.

“Although I have a busy schedule, it’s always been one of my dreams to be featured in an internationally recognized magazine,” MsPuiYi said. “Sam and the great people at Penthouse made sure things were good and comfortable for us. From ideation, to delivering the end result to Penthouse, I’ve enjoyed myself a lot!”

“It is truly an honor to welcome MsPuiYi to Penthouse. Her personality, professionalism, drive to succeed, and incredible work ethic are just a few of the qualities we admire, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her join us as part of the family,” said Moose, CEO of Penthouse. “We want to especially thank Charmaine Wang, Tiana Goh and Mr. Ryan for their coordinated efforts and working with our team to bring this extraordinary project to fruition.”

Sam Phillips reflected, “I am so proud of our international efforts to bring the majesty of MsPuiYi to the pages of Penthouse magazine. This collaboration was almost a year in the making and required many middle-of-the-night WhatsApp calls to Malaysia to help facilitate the logistics for her outdoor themed photo and video shoot.

"We are honored to welcome MsPuiYi into the Penthouse family. Not only is she breathtakingly beautiful, she's also a great brand ambassador, an internationally renowned model, a cosmetics mogul, an IG influencer and the first South East Asian Penthouse Pet and cover model," Phillips said. "You will see for yourself why we love MsPuiYi when you grab our Jan/Feb issue on newsstands and in bookstores now. Also keep an eye on our Penthouse socials for details on our upcoming U.S. meet and greet dates with MsPuiYi. I want to personally thank the team behind the MsPuiYi empire, Charmaine Wang, Tiana Goh and Mr. Ryan, for helping me coordinate this huge effort to bring MsPuiYi's vision to fruition. I also want to thank Penthouse CEO Moose for bringing MsPuiYi to my attention and getting this party started right in the new year!”

The photo shoot included the work of photographer Edwin Goh, videographer Dasheneugene, makeup artist Fiona Yip, Esther Soon and Jason Soon from the arts and prop department, as well as support from MsPuiYi's team consisting of Charmaine Wang, Ryan Oh, Tiana Goh and Braxton Teng.

MsPuiYi is on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

The January/February issue of Penthouse magazine is now available at bookstores and newsstands.
