LOS ANGELES—Penthouse Magazine has named actress, model and singer, Renee Olstead, as its Penthouse Pet of the Month for January. She is featured in the newly-published January/February 2023 edition of the publication.
Known for her roles on the CBS sitcom Still Standing, and ABC’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager, the television star who enjoys searching for retro collectibles, frequenting flea markets and attending classic car shows, said posing for Penthouse is one of the most daring things she’s ever done. The magazine is now available at newsstands and other retailers.
“Posing nude is still new territory for me,” Olstead said. “But I’ve been collecting vintage Penthouse paraphernalia for quite a while now and jumped at the chance for an interview when Penthouse Photo Director Sam [Phillips] slid into my DMs.”
The petite, buxom brunette appears on the cover of the January/February 2023 edition entitled “The Pet of the Year Playoff Issue,” where she wears a provocative western wear, complete with a black hat, chaps, fringed halter top and a gold Penthouse key.
“We are honored to present Renee Olstead as you've never seen her before,” Phillips said. “Renee's got this old-school Hollywood glamour look mixed with a cool vintage outlaw cowboy vibe, and I think it’s captured perfectly in her 16-page Pet of the Month pictorial.”

Olstead added: “As an adult, I’ve worn many hats—child actress, teen soap star, singer. I worked briefly in theatrical management and PR before going back to school for my Master’s in Clinical Psychology. Eventually, I’m hoping to write.”

You have to read about her Hollywood accomplishments at an early age to really appreciate where she's chosen to go next in her career, which is Penthouse Magazine. What a thrill for us!”
Rosenfeld hailed the actress' resilience during the shoot, despite the intense hot weather.
“As I recall we worked outside in the desert all day, in 100-degree weather,” he recalled. “We were all very fatigued from the heat, but not Renee. As we moved from each set of this old western town she kept up her high energy and her beautiful glow. In fact, she brought so much to the lens she kept us all completely captivated. As a professional actor and model she knows exactly how to charm the camera.”
