Party in Long Beach to Raise Funds for Stephanie Swift's Battle Against Cancer

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Adult movie star Stephanie Swift is fighting a difficult battle against breast cancer, and now is the time for the adult industry to help raise some money so that she can continue her treatment. Sex at the Shore, a benefit for the Stephanie Swift Breast Cancer Care Fund, takes place Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Shore Ultra Lounge in Long Beach from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Tickets are $35, and those interested in helping are encouraged to attend or to send a check.

“I had heard about Stephanie’s breast cancer and I ran into her this past weekend at Adultcon and we talked for a while, and hopefully we can help her out by letting people know about her problem and assist her in raising some much-needed money,” said Jeff Mullen of X-Play/All Media Play.

Fans and those in the adult movie industry are encouraged to attend the event or write a check in any amount and send it to the Stephanie Swift Breast Cancer Care Fund, P.O. Box 9864, Canoga Park, CA 91309.

Stephanie Swift, the former Wicked Pictures contract star, has already gone through a double mastectomy and needs serious chemotherapy treatments in order to win her battle.

“Sometimes in life we move through at light speed, concentrating on our own business, and then you hear of somebody who is in desperate need of some help, like Stephanie. Well, now is the time to help,” Mullen said.

“We had been so busy delivering our new movie Flight Attendants that I realized that in the grand scheme of things there are other things much more important than porn comedies. If you can’t make the event this weekend, you can still help out with a check”, Mullen offered. “And to all of my media friends out there who can help pass the word on, yes, I do realize I am quoting myself,” Mullen chuckled. He went on to add that Stephanie was in high spirits, had a smile on her face and was confident that with treatment she can win her battle.

Sex at the Shore takes place Saturday at the Shore Ultra Lounge, 6200 E. Second St., Long Beach, from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Those who cannot attend may mail a donation check to the Stephanie Swift Breast Cancer Care Fund, P.O. Box 9864, Canoga Park, CA 91309.
