Pacific Coast Signs Absolute Digital Entertainment

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Pacific Coast, Inc. has closed a deal to distribute Absolute Digital Entertainment, a new "high-concept" adult video label that merges the porn and music worlds.

At the head of Absolute are Jay Jackson and Martin Rendon. Jackson brings thirty years of experience to the table, having worked with the likes of Snoop Dogg, AC/DC, Dr. Dre, The Clash, NWA and Guns ‘n Roses among others.

“The product is terrific,” said PCI vice president Craig Jelin. “Jay and Martin’s movies have sensational concepts and really smart bonuses such as the free Superstar Music CD. They also have interesting guerrilla marketing ideas culled from the urban music industry.”

One idea is the "Free Wesley" campaign, which features incarcerated porn actor/rapper Wesley Pipes in the G’z Up Ho’s Down DVD. The disc will include a bonus CD featuring Snoop, Mellow Man Ace, Father MC and others.

Other Absolute lines include Asian Invasion, the interracial titles Blacks N2 Blondes and Deep Dickin, a MILF line titled Xperienced Ladies, the pimp-themed West Coast Pimpin, a rock music line called Hard ‘n Fast and 3DSX, a 3D title that comes with glasses.

“The Absolute guys are the ultimate fans of edgy video and music,” said PCI president Roy Karch. “Sex, hip-hop and rock go naturally together and [Jackson and Rendon] bring a tremendous amount of experience in reaching those markets.”
