LOS ANGELES—Outside the Box with Sunny Megatron, a web-based series that focused on various aspect of sexual exploration, has found a new home on Amazon Prime Video.
Hosted by renowned sex educator Sunny Megaton and co-hosted by her husband and fellow sex educator Ken Melvoin-Berg, Outside the Box was created by Plausible Films, helmed by AVN founder Paul Fishbein. The 12 episodes originally aired online in 2013.
“I loved working on this series and I’m thrilled it’s found a home on Amazon!” Megatron told AVN. “The show has so much versatility—sex toy reviews, sex ed, interviews with industry greats, wacky comedic segments like our man-on-the-street interviews, etc. Outside the Box really does offer a little something for everyone.”
Following its release, Outside the Box was well received and led to the Showtime original series Sex With Sunny Megatron.
All 12 episode of Outside the Box with Sunny Megatron—including “Adult Toys & How to Play,” “Adult Star Roundtable” and “Adult Legends & Their Fleshlights”—feature different segments that highlight popular sex toys, leading adult performers, man-on-the-street interviews, footage from the ANME and AVN Novelty Expo trade shows and more.
Several pleasure products manufacturers—including CalExotics, Pipedream Products, Liberator, LELO and Fleshlight—are featured in the series, as are adult performers including James Deen, Asa Akira, Penny Pax and Julia Ann.
Outside the Box with Sunny Megatron debuted May 2 for in-demand viewing on Amazon Prime Video. Anyone with an Amazon Prime account can view the show for free at Amazon.com.
