On the Set: Kross/Angel Collab 'Valley of the Fuck Dolls'

LOS ANGELES—Kayden Kross and Joanna Angel have a lot in common: They're both iconic, award-winning writer/director/performers; they're both AVN Hall of Famers; they've both hosted the AVN Awards; and they both, it just so happens, look exquisite in shiny black latex.

We'll get to that last part in a second.

As to the rest, it seems almost like a foregone conclusion that they should at some point collaborate on a project. And recently, the stars aligned in such a way that it came to pass in the form of Valley of the Fuck Dolls, a featurette for Kross' new Vixen Media Group banner, Deeper.

Which brings us back to that latex—when we walk onto the set of this power collaboration (Kross and Angel share producing, writing and directing credits), housed in a cavernous industrial warehouse, we're met by an entire cadre of gals sheathed in it, including both directrixes, Evelyn Claire, Jessie Lee, Aidra Fox and Lily Lane.

The scene taking place this day—the first of Fuck Dolls' two chapters—is to be a three-way between Claire, Angel and the latter's real-life husband, Small Hands, with the rest serving as extras or non-sex characters. (Those characters—played by Kross and Fox—will get their fornicating turn at bat in part two, a three-way of their own with Kross' significant other, reigning AVN Male Performer of the Year Manuel Ferrara.)

As Kross oversees still photos being taken of Angel and Claire against a black drape—herself clad in a form-fitting black latex mini-dress—she intones the greeting, "Welcome to the fetish party."

Seems to fit the general vibe of Deeper: a little bit fetish, a little bit glitz and glam ... and in this particular case, a snazzy garnish of neon. As the still shots continue, crew members position about a dozen alternating-color neon bars in carefully spaced-out spots along the brick wall and around the large platform-like bed where the action will be taking place shortly.

The concept of the featurette is that this is some sort of high-end brothel where elite clientele are presented with sex slave-like "dolls" from which to choose. Kross is the madam, and Small Hands the customer this evening. Fox is a mystery component in the proceedings—a woman summoned (for reasons presumably to be revealed in part two) by receiving an unexplained key that gets her into the building, where she observes with bewilderment as Small Hands picks Angel and Claire from the lineup and debauchery ensues right in front of her.

Before said debauchery begins, however, Kross is sure to establish clear consent among the participants for what's about to transpire between them—especially in regard to slapping. When she asks Claire if it's OK for Small Hands to slap her, she at first reponds (facing him), "You don't have to." But she quickly concedes, "You can slap me," and then, emphatically, "I want you to slap me!"

Preparing to start the scene, Angel and Claire pull on the full head-encasing latex masks they must wear at least for the first portion of it. "I would say we want to get some really fantastic blowjob stuff before we take off the masks," Kross instructs them.

With everyone in place, cameras roll. Kross introduces Small Hands to his lineup of doll selections, and after inspecting each one, he tells her he'll take Angel and Claire. They drop to their knees; Angel, who's further from him, crawls over. He unbuckles his pants, pulls out his at-the-ready cock, and they take turns engulfing it with their mouths, their arms held crossed behind their backs.

He makes them kiss, at which point they bring their hands out in front of them to double fist his phallus while they do. From behind the camera, Kross tells Small Hands to "lose the shirt and jacket whenever you're ready." He complies a moment later, and throws both over Angel's head while Claire attends to his cock.

And then the fire alarm goes off.

There is no fire, but everything stops for a minute while Kross figures out how to disable the alarm. Grasping the ripe opportunity at hand, the stills photographer cracks, "The scene was just too hot, huh?"

The alarm taken care of and everyone resituated, the scene resumes. Following a bit more b.j., Kross orders the rest of the unchosen dolls out of the room ... but tells Fox to stay put. As they all file out, Small Hands leads Claire and Angel over to the platform bed.

Kross cuts before the trio commences with the actual sex, so as to discuss how exactly she'd like to see the popshot executed (she has a vision in mind of Claire and Angel on their knees in front of Small Hands, their hands once again behind their backs, but their heads facing out toward the camera) and what kind of banter she wants out of them during the happenings preceding it.

"Don't overdo it with stupid talk," she tells them. "If you have something to say, make it good."

With that, they're off, a mad carnival act of sexual three-card monte, flipping and swiveling into every conceivable formation betwixt them as they build toward release. With Claire on her back, Angel holding her head while Small Hands pulls on the chain running between her collar and her belt, Kross announces, "OK, we've got about five more minutes, I really want to bring up that energy and get that crescendo from here."

They build some more—at one point, while she's riding Small Hands in reverse cowgirl, Angel unleashes a prodigious geyser of squirt. Small Hands is getting really close. Kross is intent on capturing a solid "O" from Claire, though, before she'll allow him to unload. He's hopping from foot to foot, visibly fighting to keep it in.

Kross gets her shot. And Small Hands fires his. Claire and Angel make out, swapping his sperm. The scene is a wrap.
