Ninn Worx Inks Distribution Deal with Jazmin Media

Ninn Worx has added UK-based studio Jazmin Media to its distribution roster, signing an exclusive worldwide deal to release the British company's titles in all formats.

"There are a lot of similarities between what Jazmin does, and what I do with all of my projects," said Ninn Worx president Michael Ninn. "There is a lot of interplay between the music, the sex and the overall direction my movie will ultimately take. That isn't defined only by a music-driven project like Sacred Sin, it is in every production that I direct and edit. Jazmin Media's titles fit very well with the overall Ninn Worx brand in that respect. They also shoot pretty movies that are raunchy and don't leave you feeling like you've blown your chance to get off by watching it."

Run by the husband-wife team of Jazmin Jones and Marcus Lawson, Jazmin Media specializes in stylized, music video-style hardcore fare. The company's credits include a six-part series for Playboy TV UK entitled Every Six Seconds.

"We are thrilled to have found Ninn Worx as a home for Jazmin Media, as Michael has a very similar philosophy to ours, Jones said. "We consider our approach to be one of 'boutique erotica' centering on hand-crafted films. So, at this stage we are making 3 or 4 films a year with every film being unique. Ninn Worx has given me total creative freedom. I have very ambitious plans for future films that are even more story-driven, employing bigger budgets, and progressing into new territories crossing genres such as a period fantasy, industrial gothic, or an alt/indie title. I will never lose that passion for pushing the creative boundaries."

Jones has worked on projects with clothiers, producers and promoters of European fetish clubs including the famous Torture Garden. An accomplished musician, she composes the soundtrack music for Jazmin Media's video projects.

"When the initial script is written, I am always aware of the importance music will play in the final edit, Jones said. "I write much of the music before hand - as I know the mood I am trying to achieve with the story. It's not an after thought but an integral element of the initial design of the project. Along with the outfits, the sex, make-up and locations, the music is just as important. Then, at the editing stage, Marcus and I edit the sex scenes around the music. This is something that I saw in Michael Ninn's titles and that ultimately established the rapport between Michael and me, leading to the decision to sign with Ninn Worx for our distribution."

Ninn Worx plans to release three Jazmin Media productions per year. The first of these titles, Kinky Cock-Tales, streets on May 23 and is available for pre-order now.
