Nikki Benz & Emily Bloom Named Hosts of 2020 AVN Awards Show

LOS ANGELES—AVN Media Network is pleased to announce Hall of Fame performer Nikki Benz and cam star Emily Bloom will co-host the 2020 AVN Awards Show.

The 37th annual ceremony, presented by MyFreeCams, is scheduled for January 25, 2020, at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

In what is becoming a midsummer tradition, AVN CEO Tony Rios made the anticipated announcement Monday night during the fourth annual AVN House Party at the AVN headquarters in Chatsworth, Calif. The announcement—from the main stage of the House Party—was streamed live on the new AVN Stars platform.

Benz, who graces the July 2019 cover of AVN magazine, started her adult industry career in 2002—and in January 2016 she was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame.

The 2011 Penthouse Pet of the Year, renowned feature dancer and perennial contract girl from Toronto is widely regarded as the most successful porn star ever from Canada.

The sassy leader of the notorious #BenzMafia, which became one of the first porn star fan followings to earn its own moniker in 2005, boasts 4 million followers on Instagram and another 900,000-plus on Twitter, making her one of the most followed adult entertainers on Earth.

“When I was asked to co-host the 2020 AVN Awards I was speechless—happy and speechless!” Benz said. “I’m still waiting for someone to pinch me to make sure I’m not dreaming. I am so honored! What an incredible accolade to add to my resume. Thank you AVN! I’ll forever be grateful!

“2020 AVN Awards, here we go!”

Emily Bloom is a former runway model who grew up in Ukraine and now calls Los Angeles home. The cover girl of the May 2019 issue of CAMStar is fluent in three languages—Ukrainian, Russian and English—likes snakes, sometimes makes her own sushi, has a fascination with potatoes and cooks a “killer” meatloaf.

She is a multi-talented entertainer who also works as a mainstream actress when she’s not logging onto MyFreeCams. Bloom has starred in Puppet Master: Axis Termination and next will be seen in the 2020 film Attack of the Unknown.

Committed to honing her craft—she studied at The Groundlings this year—Bloom has a Master’s degree in Film and hosts her own awards show on MFC on the same day as the Oscars in February. She calls her show the Bloom Awards.

“I am so honored and humbled to be chosen as a host for AVN 2020,” Bloom said. “I am extremely excited and will absolutely do my best to uphold the high standard of AVN! It is still a little hard to believe that it’s happening and I didn’t just dream it.”

AVN Media Network CEO Tony Rios remarked, “Nikki and Emily embody all the qualities we look for in hosts of our show—they’re beautiful, confident and savvy businesswomen who each have created incredible careers for themselves. We couldn’t be happier about this amazing duo taking the biggest stage in adult entertainment in January as we celebrate the best of the best.”

The 2020 AVN Awards will recognize outstanding achievements in adult performing, content production, pleasure products, retailing and live camming—across more than 120 categories. The show once again will be streamed live and also filmed for a worldwide cable broadcast.

The 2020 AVN Show will kick off on January 22nd, when the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) and AVN Novelty Expo (ANE) begin at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
