"This year has been full of ups and downs & after the most horrific scene I filmed right before Bali...I deserve this! Trust...I'm not happy," she said via her Twitter feed @nikkibenz.
She continued, "But I'm letting shit go...have fun releasing it. I'm not ok with it!!! ...as an ambassador, you should have never put me in that kind of situation. Good luck."
Benz later posted, "I guess rape scene[s] are in now huh? I guess when I'm signing out and I tell you I'm not ok with the scene, you make me say I'm ok so I get paid. I'll go on CNN and tell the truth. I have zero to hide."
Early on Tuesday Benz, who is on vacation, continued tweeting about the scene.
"I'm trying my best to enjoy my birthday trip with my girls. I'm disgusted, traumatized, upset with and Tony T. I'm overseas but...
"Once I'm back in L.A., I will properly handle my business. No girl should have to go through what I went through on set.
" and me telling you I'm not ok with any of this should be taken seriously. I should not be beat down.
"In my 13 years in porn, this was the first time I went into shock on set & cried. "On set bullying, rape, & violence should never happen. on camera, off camera. Just NO!"
Benz did not immediately respond to request for comment at post time, nor did Brazzers.
But the studio released a statement Tuesday night addressing the allegations on its safe-for-work publishing platform,
Trendzz, with the headline "Brazzers Supports Nikki Benz."
The statement read, "We have become aware of a controversy surrounding a recent shoot involving Nikki Benz. As most of you already know, we do not produce content ourselves but commission producers to do so on our behalf. We understand that this particular scene was an unscripted scene with the artistic direction left open to the producer’s discretion.
"Brazzers considers performers’ consent, boundaries and limits and safety to be fundamental and paramount issues and unequivocally stands for the respect of the performers. Brazzers does not condone nor does it tolerate conduct by producers that would jeopardize a performer’s security or well-being.
"Given the allegations surrounding the production of this scene, Brazzers will thoroughly investigate its production, and, if necessary will take steps that are reasonably calculated to prevent the alleged behavior from occurring.
"Brazzers always reserves the right to reject any particular scene if it does not meet with its brand and image guidelines. Producers are aware of this and, we hope, are cognizant of that when shooting scenes for Brazzers. This particular type of scene would never meet our standards and would be rejected immediately."
In announcing the statement was posted, Brazzers tweeted at Benz, "Hey we're behind you and will never tolerate negative behavior towards stars by any 3rd party producer."
Benz responded to the Brazzers post with her own tweet, saying, "You stopped being behind me as soon as you booked Tony T to shoot my scene. You thought I'd go about my day. You traumatized me."
She added, "The company that should have had my back from day one, failed me. What happened to me could happen [to] any girl in my industry."
Benz, an AVN Hall of Fame performer from Toronto, is a 14-plus year industry veteran with more than 370 film credits. Numerous adult performers and industry members took to social media late Tuesday to convey their support for the popular star.
On Wednesday morning, Brazzers issued a follow-up statement regarding the matter:
"Brazzers, along with the entire adult community, was upset to learn of the recent events surrounding a film shoot involving one of our own, Nikki Benz. Nikki is a seasoned professional and both the performer and the producer have worked together on many collaborations over the years without issue. The moment that the disturbing details of the event were brought to our attention, we treated it with the urgency that it demanded and investigated the situation to understand what exactly had taken place. It appears that some of the alleged conduct could have occurred, and we took immediate measure to sever our relationship with the producer in question. Not only have we terminated all existing professional engagements with the producer, but any possibility for any future endeavors with this producer have also been quashed.
"We have also refused to purchase the scene in question as it stands in direct contrast with our mandate to ensure that performers’ consent, boundaries and limits are respected. It is our commitment that this offensive scene will never find itself listed as a Brazzers property.
"Nikki Benz has been, and will always be, a part of the Brazzers family. As with any of our performers, her well-being and security are a paramount concern to us. We have reached out to her through multiple channels while she seeks solace on her current holiday, and are eager to have a proper and productive dialogue with her at her convenience.
"Ultimately, Nikki understands that she has our support on this disturbing matter and that we are available to assist her through this difficult time."
