New Sensations Releases 'The Submission of Emma Marx IV: Evolved'

LOS ANGLESNew Sensations on Monday announced the release of The Submission of Emma Marx IV: Evolved. The sequel marks the return of the multi-award winning BDSM movie franchise, opening a new chapter in the life of Emma Marx, one of adult cinema's most complex protagonists—now on her own and taking charge of her first submissive.

Acclaimed writer and director Jacky St. James helms the new feature with Penny Pax reprising her AVN award-winning role (2016 Best Actress) as Emma Marx and beautiful and talented up-and-comer Violet Starr making her feature film debut as Mariah, Emma's sub.

"Without question, this is the best 'Emma Marx' of the series," St. James said. "We've all grown in our respective roles and have put together something that I am certain fans of the films will love. Violet brings a fresh new energy to the story and Penny, Riley, and Van—returning from the previous three installments—are truly superb."

Set two years after the events of The Submission of Emma Marx: Exposed, the new sequel finds Emma moving past the tragic loss of her lover and Dom, William Fredrick, and taking on a spirited young woman as her sub—a challenge that puts Emma's resolve to the test.

"I love how Emma is reaching out of her comfort zone to teach a young lady the knowledge and experience she learned from her first Dom, Mr. Frederick," Pax said. "It shows you that even if you're in a dark place you can face your fears and grow as person no matter what your past is."

"Becoming Mariah was very interesting," Starr said. "She is very sassy and carries herself as a wild child. She is very fierce! You would never expect her to become a submissive; it seems like a huge contradiction to her personality—which made it even more fun to play her! I had a blast working on the set of Emma Marx: Evolved! It is really cool to see the plot lead up to the scenes, while connecting the whole story together! I can't wait for everyone to see it."

The Submission of Emma Marx IV: Evolved also sees the return of superstar Riley Reid as Emma's sweet, but self-centered, sister Nadia, now at an emotional crossroads with husband and baby-daddy Ray, played once more by Van Wylde.

"Once again I'm grateful to be a part of such a stellar series of movies," Reid said. "The fact that this movie is being made even after the death of one of the main characters is insane to me. With most movies, the story kind of ends and we don't ever find out what happens to the characters next. I love how the story is evolving. Jacky is an incredible talent and addition to the adult industry. Thank you to all the fans and viewers and I hope you guys continue to keep these movies alive."

The Submission of Emma Marx IV: Evolved co-stars 2017 AVN Male Performer of the Year Mick Blue, Damon Dice, Jay Smooth, John Strong, Mike Mancini, and 2017 AVN Best Male Newcomer Ricky Johnson.
