LOS ANGELES — Nelly Kent tells AVN she brought several of her ideas to life in 2021, expanding her repertoire and ramping up production of her own content.
The Romanian star, who made her porn debut in 2018, now offers free exclusive videos on Pornhub to go with paid memberships and pay-per-view videos on Sheer.
But Nelly is just warming up.
She revealed a taste of what’s to come in her directorial debut that she unveiled on AnalVids.com on Sunday—a stylish, no-holes-barred all-girl encounter featuring her with Zazie Skymm and Stacy Bloom.
Soon she will be introducing her own studio on Pornbox.
Nelly says she has a two-pronged focus when it comes to her own productions: “innovation and delivering the right things.”
“I don’t have any budget from any company and I produce everything with my own money so at the moment I have to do everything that can bring me incomes to be able to continue my projects,” Kent says. “I’m full of ideas and I've been shooting amazing things with the resources that I have, and even like that we have done great work.
“My vision is very simple: Do whatever you like that can bring you money in the same time.”
Kent says that after three years of shooting for other companies that she has learned about “what the public wants to see.” She chooses to shoot in 4K because she wants to deliver “quality and not quantity.”
“We already can see a large number of amateurs delivering great content,” Kent says. “What I shoot is quality and funny at the same time. You don’t get to see any boring stories even if though sometimes I have to post what’s trendy.”
Kent, who has racked up more than 300 scenes as a performer, including multiple DP’s and anal outings, says she is in the process of creating primarily “hardcore” videos for PornBox.
“There are going to be some great POV solos with anal squirt and everything like this, but also girl/girl and boy/girl hardcore scenes,” explains Kent, who is based in Budapest but is planning to travel to America in 2022 to shoot paid content with top U.S.-based performers.
A performer who always keeps it real, Kent admits 2021 was “full of surprises with ups and downs.”
“I can’t say it has been perfect and lie to myself because all of us have these ups and downs sometimes, but it’s important to keep your head up,” Nelly continues. “On the good side I was falling in love, working on new projects. What disappointed me was to discover that many people don’t agree with the idea of making content for yourself. But I think productions and content creators can work hand in hand very well.”
She says the decision to begin producing for herself in many ways was a natural progression.
“I would be a hypocrite to say that it was for ‘finding myself’ or anything like that,” Nelly says. “The first reason was the incomes that are coming on a long period of time from one project, not only one time as you get paid when you go to one shooting.
“I don’t say that I’m against it but what I would like to encourage with the other performers is to think on the long-term as well. We have seen that many accidents can happen and you are not able to shoot for the productions very fast or the best example can be Covid times.
“We don’t have a normal job so ‘we’ as performers, as girls we are not going to look flawless and young forever, maybe only inside of us.”
Nelly points to her most recent work for SexLikeReal as her favorite performances of the past year.
“It’s been a pleasure to work for them and work with them,” Kent adds. “The whole team makes the shooting much easier. They know what they want and at the same time they take in consideration models opinion. I’m looking forward to work with them again.”
She says 2022 will be about personal and professional growth.
“2021 was a little bit more difficult to start it off after the whole Covid situation but I see 2022 as an income-growing year and I wish to be able to bring much more performers on my platforms and attract much more traffic at the same time,” Nelly tells AVN.
