LOS ANGELES—Nelly Kent takes a no-nonsense approach to adult, focusing on performing her best every time on set and not worrying about anyone else’s drama.
“I’m just keeping it real,” Kent tells AVN.
It shows.
The Romanian star at press time had racked up more than 300 sex scenes since 2018, demonstrating a range that includes dozens of hardcore anal encounters and several DP’s for top studio brands in Europe as well as some in the U.S.
“It took me like two months to properly stay into position right—but I love this,” Kent says.
Now a seasoned performer whose gapes someday may be the stuff of legend, the self-styled “bad ass with a good ass” keeps a record of all her scenes when they are released, logging multiple credits for companies such as Legal Porno, Private, 21st Sextury, Woodman Entertainment, Evil Angel, Marc Dorcel and many more.
“I worked really hard,” Kent says matter of factly. “I worked my ass, literally. Like I worked my fucking ass.”
No argument here.
The fans have responded, too. Kent at press time had built a following of more than 90,000 on Twitter, where she does an excellent job promoting her work, not to mention shares generous footage of her doing delightfully dirty things to herself.
Some of her newer outings include a girl/girl with Missy Luv for Christina Shine’s MixedX.com; a boy/girl anal for RealJamVR.com in which her body was covered in sushi; and VRCosplayX.com, where she stars in a Dejah Thoris XXX parody and told her Twitter followers she had “four anal orgasms” that day.
“I put my soul into it, not just my vagina,” Kent says.
If anyone needs more evidence they may want to consider Kent’s significant body of work for LegalPorno, where the 23-year-old has recorded 16 no-holes-barred outings that include an air-tight and one of the site’s best-selling duo scenes of 2018 with Rebecca Volpetti.
“I've done some cool stuff for LegalPorno,” Kent says humbly.
In Los Angeles in early 2019, Kent paired up with Cassie Del Isla to take on anal excavator Mike Adriano for AllAnal.com; she also handled Mark Wood for a scene that appears in Anal Heartbreakers 5 for LeWood/Evil Angel that was co-directed by his partner Francesca Le.
Kent decided to stay in Budapest for the quarantine so she could be ready when production started up again. A former magazine writer and cam girl who was born and raised in the small northern town of Targu Neamt, Romania, Kent moved to Bucharest in the southern part of the country in 2016.
“I run from home. I just woke up on the streets in Bucharest. I run because I had some problems at home and I wanted to go to university,” Kent says. “… So because I was into school so much, I was just thinking maybe if I run I'm just gonna start something new and I'm gonna continue my studies. But it didn’t happen because I discovered money and you know…”
Kent did live-camming for Bucharest-based Studio20 from 2016-18, when she saw a veteran producer posting about his porn site on Facebook.
“And I was like, ‘Hey, if you come to Bucharest, I would love to help you to find girls for your site.’ And he was like, ‘What about you?’” Kent recalls.
She was reluctant to consider doing porn herself at first, but the producer gave her the phone number for BrillBabes—which remains her agent to this day.
“So I think I’ve just been lucky I guess,” Kent says, adding she enjoyed her time camming for Studio20, which is headed by CEO Mugur Frunzetti.
“I like to work with Mugur because he’s very serious. He has some rules about not drinking Coke and stuff like this. But otherwise he's really cool and very smart and he's about making money and not just being there doing nothing. If you work, work for something. So it was good.”
Kent wrote for music magazines before adult, covering events “like AVN style.”
She also did accounting and did scriptwriting for TV shows.
“And at that time I had my own blog and I was having interviews with some really famous people from my country,” Kent says.
Her writing got noticed in Romania, she says, adding, “People say I'm good and I have a talent.”
“I guess I don't sound boring,” she says. “And I think about some stuff that I was writing... I just had the balls to do it. I love motocross and enduro, and in my country there is a big federation of motocross, and nobody was messing with them because people were scared of them.”
On the performing front, Kent would like the opportunity to create some new naughtiness for high-profile U.S. directors, pointing to Hall of Fame shooters Jonni Darkko and Axel Braun as intriguing possibilities.
"I would love to, but something like really special," she says.
