LOS ANGELES—Nancy Ace tells AVN her most underrated attribute is her modesty.
“Everyone thinks that if I shoot adult films I’m very open and vulgar,” Ace explains. “But this is not so. In life, I am a very ordinary girl who does not like high-profile parties, clubs or dances. I am humble and love a relaxing holiday or staying home with a book.”
Ace may be low-key in her personal life but she commands an audience when she’s on camera. It’s why the stunning native of Kiev, Ukraine, has established herself as one of the most sought-after models in Europe.
Now a veteran of more than 80 XXX scenes, Ace’s credits include Evil Angel, Vixen, LetsDoeIt, Nubiles, 21st Sextury, Bang, Reality Kings, Met-Art, Sex Art, Sexy Hub, DDF Network, Digital Sin and many more.
But when it comes her favorites scenes of the past year, Ace would prefer not to choose only one.
“You know, I can’t select a few scenes and say that I love them more than the rest,” she says. “All the films in which I shoot or the productions with which I collaborate, almost all of them make beautiful scenes. Almost every one of them is my favorite.”
She started shooting in the nude when she was 18, doing only solo performances for the first three years. Then about four years ago she accepted an offer to do boy/girl porn because as she puts it, “why not?”
Now she loves the variety that comes with performing.
“I like the fact that I act in beautiful films that bring pleasure to many people,” Ace says. “Every time I have something new in sex, something that I might not have tried. Every time I have a new role and new experience for me. I like it.”
She surprised herself by doing porn.
“I thought that I was a very shy girl. I did not think that my body could excite a million people,” Ace says. “I didn’t think that porn could reveal me—reveal some talents in me. But it happened. I love myself more. I began to love my body. … I opened myself from the other side.”
One of Ace’s 2019 performances was for PornPros’ popular Tiny4K site under the direction of veteran producer/director Tristan Seagal.
“It was a lot of fun,” she says. “To be honest I can’t remember exactly what we shot but I remembered my emotions and impressions. It was elegant, beautiful with passion. Tristan is very kind and a good person. It was easy for us to work together.”
Ace went to school and earned money through several jobs before porn—she formerly worked in sales in a store.
“I worked there for a long time and got good money, as I thought,” she says, adding she also was a nanny before porn. “I sat for several hours a day with a child. It was the most interesting work that I really loved. And also I worked at a bus conductor’s. I still can’t believe that I worked there.”
Now Ace likes to choose her adult work carefully; it’s not uncommon for her to take several months off in between shoots. “I do not work in all styles and choose only the best production, so that there are high-quality films,” she says. “Maybe because of this I don’t work often.”
She likes walking her dogs, reading, going to the movies and helping animals in her free time, not to mention Yoga and other physical fitness activities.
Ace remains grateful for “everything that happens in my life.”
“For the fact that life allows me to try myself in different roles,” Ace reasons. “Because I got into this industry. I started traveling, changed my views on many things, met interesting people. For this I am also very grateful.”
She doesn’t know what the future holds and that’s fine with her.
“I am a person who does not make big plans for the future,” Ace reveals. “I love living today—now. If something should happen it will happen and I will be glad in any case.
“But there is one small dream: next year I would like to win in some nomination and receive an award. So I need to work hard in 2020.”
