CHICAGO—MrSkin.com and MrMan.com have selected six finalists to compete in the Mr. Skin Cosplay Challenge for a chance to win $1,000.
The contest, which launched Oct. 22 and invited cosplay enthusiasts to dress up as their favorite film, TV, comic book/graphic novel, cartoon, book and other characters, will now open up public voting until Nov. 12 to determine the Cosplay Challenge winner.
Mr. Skin finalists’ entries will be uploaded to MrSkin.com/MrMan.com, and registered users can view and vote for their favorite finalists. Voting is limited to one vote per person and per email address during the public voting period. The winner will be announced Nov. 15.
“After two weeks and many amazing entries, we were absolutely blown away by the unbelievable creativity in the costumes,” said a Mr. Skin company representative. “We judged on the basis of costume craftsmanship, originality and the overall look. Now it’s up to the public to make the $1,000 decision. Good luck!”
