MPAA Bans Kevin Smith's 'Porno' Poster

TORONTO - The Motion Picture Association of America has nixed the original poster design for Kevin Smith's comedy Zack and Miri Make a Porno for its raunchy content.

The offending image shows stars Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks in poses suggesting oral sex. The poster is on display in Canada, where the movie is set to premiere Sunday night at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Writer/director Smith is angry about the ratings board's action.

"When you've got the word 'porno' in the title, naturally, the marketing materials are gonna be scrutinized more closely by the MPAA," he told Entertainment Weekly. "I understand they've got a job to do, but c'mon…this image isn't that dirty; they're both fully clad."

Zack and Miri arrives in U.S. theaters Oct. 31.
