More About All About Anna

COPENHAGEN – The All About Anna international juggernaut rolls on. The Marilyn Monroe Room of Copenhagen's Museum Erotica held a Platinum Gala and Reception to mark that the film has sold more than 30,000 Danish DVD units.

On hand to celebrate this landmark were the film's cast and crew, friends, business associates and members of the press.

Among those making speeches to commemorate the night was Danish film pioneer and museum president Ole Ege, who talked about the film’s historical significance. Scandinavian television personality and sexologist Joan Ørting also spoke glowingly of the film before presenting the Platinum trophies.

Those who accepted the trophies included lead actress Gry (pronounce GRU-ah) Bay, composer and songwriter M. Maurice Hawkesworth, producer Marcella Lindstad, executive producer Claus Sørensen and Nicolas Barbano of Innocent Pictures.

But the fun didn't stop there, boys and girls. Not by a long shot. Magician Michael Frederiksen put on a display of illusion that rivaled that of Siegfried and Roy—minus the predatory animals and the overt homosexuality—and in the museum’s cinema, All About Anna played continually on new projection equipment.

The festivities were such that they drew mainstream media attention from Ekstra Bladet, a Danish national newspaper.

The excitement just doesn't end with these Viking spawn, does it?
