Monica Mayhem Autobiography Hits North America

SYDNEY—Former adult star Monica Mayhem’s autobiography has arrived in the United States and Canada after only being available in her native Australia.

Absolute Mayhem: Secret Confessions of a Porn Star, initially published by Random House Australia, gives readers an in-depth look at Mayhem’s personal life and her professional exploits as a porn star, feature dancer, musician and author.

Skyhorse Publishing in New York will handle the book's North American publishing.

“I wanted to give people a chance to see the real person behind the porn star persona and give an honest insight into the adult industry,” Mayhem said. “The book has had nothing but rave reviews since its Australian release last October and I'm very proud of the results.”  

Mayhem’s book, co-written with former Penthouse editor Gerrie Lim, currently is available in the U.S. on and other retail outlets such as Barnes & Noble and Borders. It’s also available on the Kindle e-reader.

In addition to her book streeting Oct. 1, Mayhem is featured on the cover of a recently issue of Australia’s People magazine. It features the blond stunner in an eight-page layout and in-depth interview that covers the end of her performing career, her move back to Australia and her upcoming marriage.
