SAN FRANCISCO—Kink.com has named performer and producer Mickey Mod as their new creative director for content.
“Mickey’s been a part of the Kink family for years and brings so much to the table in this role,” said Mike Scott, Kink.com’s head of content. “He’s been on both sides of the camera and knows the business inside and out. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be scouting the shows for new production talent—anyone who is interested in working with Kink should make time to talk with us.”
Mod will help expand the site’s hardcore BDSM and fetish content by working with existing production partners, seeking out new partnerships with established producers and studios, and developing new content.
“It’s exciting to be able to join the Kink content team at a time when they’re expanding their slate,” says Mod. “I am passionate about quality BDSM and fetish content, and am looking forward to talking with interested producers over the next few weeks, and seeing what might be right for Kink.com.”
The San Francisco-based Mod has worked in the industry for more than a decade and has been a staple of the Kink.com productions since 2010. In addition to performing and directing for the company, Mod helped grow Kink.com’s Behind Kink documentary series and spent the last two years working as a software engineer on the site’s technology team. Mod served as Vice President of APAC and is an activist for the rights of sex workers.
