Metro Revamps 'Babes Illustrated'

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—Metro Interactive announced today that new installments of its long-running all-girl series Babes Illustrated are on the way under the direction of industry veteran Beth Rafael.

"Metro was the leader in the girl/girl market and Babes Illustrated swept the awards year after year," said Metro special projects manager Alexandra Taylor. "It's time to bring back these classic titles with fresh storylines and great casts."

In addition to her previous work with Metro, Rafael has written and directed for major studios including Vivid Entertainment Group and Digital Playground. She has been charged with giving Babes Illustrated a complete makeover, with an updated concept and fresh storylines.

"With a true understanding of what the lesbian connoisseur wants in their movies, we are ready to deliver," said Taylor.

Production on the new Babes Illustrated begins this week, with a big-name cast including AVN MILF/Cougar Performer of the Year Julia Ann, Raylene, Zoe Britton and Ann Marie Rios.
