Metro Interactive sales VP Christian Mann called a meeting of the adult press yesterday to promote the release of X-Rated, director Pat Myne's 100th movie for the company's Fusxion label.
Myne and starlet Jada Fire attended the informal gathering, fielding questions from a small group of writers and editors in Metro's conference room. Myne happily reminisced about shooting the hi-def production last July, enthusing over the nasty performances he elicited from his cast.
"We did a come-swapping scene with Eva Angelina, Alexis Amore and Mark Ashley," Myne told AVN.com. "I cast these two diva girls who won't do anal or anything outrageous, and I put them with Mark, who was practically pissing come into their mouths. And here are these two diva girls swapping this guy's come back and forth; by the end of the scene, it was all coagulated, but they kept going."
Several listeners appeared nauseous, but Myne continued to rave on about the movie's highlights. He touted the double-anal/double-vaginal antics of Euro starlet Sandra Romain as the production's most hardcore scene. Myne also praised Missy Monroe's blow-bang ("she's a champ"), and a scene in which Kelly Wells fellates the barrel of a gun after shoving a gigantic, ridged dildo up her ass.
Fire barely recalled her role in the movie ("I don't remember a lot of shit from my scenes; I just blank out...") but praised Myne's "crazy" directorial skills. Myne returned the compliment, mentioning that he'd directed Fire in 20 scenes, five of them in the last three months. "When you get a girl who's so good, she's money every time, that's Jada," he said.
X-Rated hit stores on March 30 in one of the most lavish DVD collector's editions the adult business has issued to date. The elegantly-packaged three-disc set includes a widescreen director's cut of the movie, a bonus disc with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews, and a separate DVD containing eight AVN-nominated scenes culled from Myne's earlier Fusxion titles such as Terrible Teens, Ass Slaves, and Pat Myne Is An Ass Assassin.
"We went all out on this release," Metro sales VP Christian Mann told AVN.com. "Pat Myne has been with Fusxion since its inception. Fusxion began as a decided attempt by Metro to be a player in gonzo…the movies would fuse Cal Vista style, high-end production value and big budgets with raunchy, hardcore gonzo. It's my assertion that X-Rated is the quintessence of that fusion. It's very high-end, with top talent, and yet it's as raunchy as anything that I've seen."
