Adult industry publicity firm, Daniel Metcalf Public Relations has moved to Boston.
Company founder and namesake, Daniel Metcalf, said the move was aimed at serving its music clients based mostly in the Boston area.
“We wanted to get more closely aligned with our musical artists and also to raise the profile of our adult industry clients in New England,” he said.
The company was established in Winston-Salem, N.C. by Metcalf last September, before moving to Boston this month. The company had been working with a number of adult companies such as Wicked Pictures, Vouyer Media and Indigo Productions.
But the company’s emphasis on music clients helped push the effort toward the New England area.
“The retailers and club owners are very supportive of our plans to bring more adult events, signings, and appearances to the Boston area, and Boston radio is rarely shy when dealing with controversial content,” Metcalf said.
“We, in turn, are very indebted to clients like Steve Orenstein, Vince Vouyer and Stephany Brotman of Hotwax Cosmetics. We hope to bring them more opportunities in the months ahead, and look forward to seeing them at Erotica LA.”
