LOS ANGELES—Martina Smeraldi reveals that her off-camera persona is quite different from the one she shares when she’s performing.
“In my private life I’m quite shy even though I’m good at hiding this side of my personality,” Smeraldi says.
The beautiful native of Sardinia, an island in southern Italy, tells AVN she made her porn debut with legendary stud Rocco Siffredi in August 2019 when she was 19.
“I love watching porn and I’ve always been curious about this world,” Martina says. “After my first time on set I understood immediately that this was my world.”
Now 200-plus scenes later, Smeraldi says she knows what she wants and how to get it.
“I consider myself very determined. When I want to do something, it is very difficult to make me change my mind,” says Smeraldi, who studied law before adult and never had a “regular” job.
Martina tells AVN she hasn’t done a lot of studio scenes recently, choosing to focus only on the projects that interest her the most. One of those such opportunities was working with Little Caprice and Marcello Bravo’s production company, starring in a new installment of POVDreams for LittleCaprice-Dreams.com and in an upcoming anal scene with Bravo for their Buttmuse series.
Martina first met the Czech producing couple at an erotic fair.
“Working with them was a great experience, I love the style of their scenes and I really had a great time on the set with them,” she says.
Smeraldi says she doesn’t have a specific “style” of performing. She adapts to the day.
“When I go on set I just think about having fun and being myself,” Martina explains. “However, I think I have a hardcore sexuality and I like to push my limits in front of the camera.”
She says before beginning her scene with Bravo that she was “nervous and excited at the same time.”
“I still feel a bit nervous before shooting a scene because I always want to do my best in everything, especially when I’m going to work on a new project,” Martina admits.
Now a resident of Milan, but traveling often for work and play, Smeraldi loves meeting new people who “like myself, have courage and are not afraid or ashamed to show what they really are.”
“All the people I’ve been working with in these years have taught me something through their stories and their experience,” Martina continues. “This always intrigues me.”
