Mainstream Film Holding Open Casting for Industry Members

LOS ANGELES—Flamboyance Films will be holding an open audition Saturday, June 30 for adult industry members ONLY to fill multiple roles in the mainstream film Stockholm.

The casting call is not restricted to adult actors; behind the camera professionals and crew members are encouraged to audition as well, as the producers would like for the on-screen adult crews in the movie to be as authentic as possible. All roles are paid.

Stockholm follows the story of a young Swedish girl, Jessica, who moves to Los Angeles with the goal of taking the porn business by storm, only to discover that achieving that goal might be more difficult than she imagined.

The film's writer/director has spent the last four years researching the industry, visiting sets, and intervieweing directors, agents and performers. Her goal is to create an honest, non-judgmental, realistic portrait of the industry as it is today. Her previous work has won awards at Sundance, Tribeca and Cannes.

The main producer on the project is a two-time Oscar nominee for best foreign film, and a Palme d'Or winner. Other producers attached are well-known adult industry veterans who have been consulting on the story for several years to ensure its accuracy. The film has already secured distribution through Versatile Media, a large sales agent in Paris.

Appointments are not necessary, but those planning to attend, or agents planning to send their talent, are encouraged to email [email protected] for role assignments or other questions.
