LOS ANGELES—MixedX, the new erotic studio from Adult Time, takes a cue from '40s film noir, when mobs ruled the streets of New York City, in its latest featurette Sunday, available for streaming now at MixedX.com.
Directed by Christina Shine, Sunday attempts to capture the old-time glamour of a bygone era while fixating on the underbelly of organized crime, specifically outlaw Raul Costa and the mystery of a missing woman in the neighborhood (Tina Kay).
“I’m a big fan of both Tina Kay and Raul Costa; they are not only fantastic erotic talents, but also great actors who give intense, amazing onscreen performances,” said Shine, who also serves as the company’s CEO.
Since its launch a year ago, Shine and her MixedX team, part of the AdultTime.com streaming network, has been treating viewers to a standard of sexual cinema that highlights character-driven storytelling.
“I created the atmosphere and, in the aftermath, gave the film a fashionable Kodak Kodachrome look of the early '60s and '70s," noted Zsolt, director of photography for MixedX. "I am excited to have this film from MixedX in the running for the nomination period and 2021 award shows.”
