Popular model Lorabel Rey has been tapped to host the New Dimension Tour scheduled for January 30 in Chicago at the UIC Pavilion and February 6 in Los Angeles at the LA Sports Arena.
Presented by Asiana Airlines, am Entertainment, and JC ROC Entertainment, the event is being billed as the first “Korean U.S. Circuit Tour,” featuring musical artists Seven, Hwee Sung, and Fly to the Sky.
“When I was out in Chicago for an event, I met the art director who is coordinating this event at a Chicago pizzeria,” Rey told AVN.com, discussing how she became involved with the show. “How funny is that?”
The Korean-born Rey is a familiar face on the modeling circuit, having appeared in countless pin-up calendars and magazine layouts, notably Playboy and Penthouse. She also continues to work as a spokes model and shooting content for glamour/bikini publications and various Websites.
According to Rey, expected attendance is between 15,000-20,000. “Since Chicago and Los Angeles has a large population of Koreans and Korean-Americans, the artists from Korea are collaborating with the American market to produce this show,” Rey said.
The promoters will be hosting an MC search to co-host the show in each city as well as a talent search for Asian talent to be marketed in the U.S.
Tickets can be purchased at Ticket Master or by calling (213) 480-3232.
Proceeds from both shows will go to charitable organizations.
