LOS ANGELES—LiveJasmin has joined forces with Veterans Rebuilding Life to launch SoldierAid, an initiative for veterans and military personnel to connect with compassionate people who understand the issues they are facing.
Current and former service members can now connect with LiveJasmin models who have undergone virtual training from Veterans Rebuilding Life in order to take advantage of the site’s first Military Discount, exclusively for current and former members of the United States Armed Forces.

The initiative was created after a nationally representative study of American military veterans published in March 2022 showed that 57 percent of U.S. military veterans were experiencing feelings of loneliness and isolation and that one in five reported feeling this way often. The program was also the result of input from LiveJasmin models, who had interacted with current and former members of the military on the site, who expressed a desire to help them deal with those and other issues, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and isolation.
The models' training course includes PTSD de-escalation techniques and communication strategies collated by veteran trauma experts with more than 20 years of experience, as well as covering topics like:
• Exploring military culture
• Crisis identification, de-escalation and stabilization
• Communication strategies to increase positive experiences
• Connecting veterans with practical support services
“LiveJasmin is dedicated to providing a safe space where current and former members of the United States military force can open up about their experiences and find compassion and companionship in return,” said Julianna Adam, member of the board of directors at LiveJasmin. “And to ensure that commitment in the years to come, we pledge to continue to expand our training program so that soldiers can always find someone to listen when they are in need.”

“LiveJasmin is a proud sponsor of Veterans Rebuilding Life, an award-winning charity founded in 2011 by American veterans of the global war on terror,” the company said in a statement. “All contributions directly support their mission: assisting victims of war and humanitarian crisis. Instead of replicating services already available, the non-profit targets needs that lack support, and provides comprehensive solutions that have a proven record of success.”
