BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - LFP Video has signed a deal with Vavoom Films to distribute a new video featuring the farewell performance of AVN Hall of Famer Sunset Thomas.
Thomas approached Larry Flynt's video division last month with the idea of shooting one last movie before her official retirement. The forthcoming production will mark Sunset's first XXX movie role since her appearance 3 1/2 years ago in VCA's Misty Beethoven: The Musical.
Said Sunset: “I started my career with Larry Flynt, and I wouldn’t want to end it with anyone else other than Larry Flynt!”
“At LFP, Sunset is a part of the family, and we were absolutely ecstatic to take on this project," said Drew Rosenfeld, Creative Director for Hustler Video Group. "Sunset Thomas has had an amazing career, and anything she does will be a blockbuster.”
LFP signed a one-picture deal with Vavoom Films to distribute Sunset’s farewell film. The DVD distribution deal gives LFP exclusive worldwide distribution rights.
“We are looking at a March release,” says LFP National Sales Manager David Diamond. “I know Sunset’s fans are going to go nuts over this project.”
