Lezley Zen is saying farewell to Los Angeles with an adult industry party this Thursday evening at Basque in Hollywood.
Zen is moving to Miami to start her studio-hosting gig with adult formatted PinkTV.com, an “interactive adult television network” with studios in Miami, Prague and a future location in Tijuana, Mexico.
The PinkTV party is expected to bring a mix of adult industry players and mainstream Hollywood types to the just-opened nightclub, which sits at the corner of Hollywood & Vine, where Deep used to be.
“They have done a million-dollar remodeling job and this place is brand new and spectacular,” said Brad Thomas of Intoxicate U, who is organizing the party.
Zen will host for PinkTV, which will be launching in 10 TV markets worldwide over the next 12 months. The company will begin broadcasting this summer through the Internet, at PinkTV.com and through ipTV television set-top boxes. The PinkTV channel will be launching on various conventional cable and satellite providers throughout Europe and the United Kingdom this fall. The company also has plans to launch on American TV platforms in early 2006.
PinkTV will be offering a “fully interactive television experience” where viewers can order premium services directly off their TV screens, in real time, as they watch. The company currently has 15 exclusive adult shows in the works including a XXX game show, two weekly reality shows, two sexually themed talk shows, a BDSM soap opera, and nude sports programming.
The company also operates an adult film division with over 30 exclusive videos already in its library.
“PinkTV television viewers can actually order their favorite adult stars for personal one-on-one video sessions, far beyond what web-cam style Internet services could ever provide. Our subscribers will be able to interact with their favorite PinkTV girls directly through their television screens and the phone,” said Jan Verleur, president of PinkTV.
