Jodie Moore, formerly a contract-performer with Private Media Group, has resurfaced to sign an exclusive two-year contract with Legend Video. Moore's contract calls for her to do twelve features a year for Legend, as well as make personal appearances for the adult studio nationwide.
"We're very happy to have Jodie onboard," said Legend owner Jack Richman. "She's beautiful, smart, and enjoys her work. Boy, does that girl enjoy her work!"
"I have more freedom with Legend. I can do my features and still go on the road and do feature dancing," Moore said, explain her decision to sign with Legend to AVN.com. "Plus they do great box covers and have a great team."
Moore has also just formed her own production company, JodieMoore.com, Inc. , that Legend will distribute. She's already shooting her first video, but is keeping the details under wraps until the project is complete. She did disclose that the female performers involved in the project come from Australia and New Zealand.
Moore grew up in the small suburb of Woodridge, Australia. In 2001, she ran for a seat on the Australian Senate, and plans to do so again in 2004. "I have people running around and getting all sorts of signatures for me, so I'm just waiting for the Prime Minister to call elections," Moore said.
A BBC documentary on Moore's campaign and life as a porn star is in the works.
Moore's first feature under the Legend contract, which will start production next week, will be released this summer. In the meantime, fans can catch Moore in videos she made at Legend before she ever signed a contract in titles such as All About Ass #7 and Devil Girl #2, Nymph Fever #6, and Gallery of Sin #4.
