LAWYER: CYBERPORN NURSING COUPLE COULD END UP IN COURT

The attorney for husband-and-wife intensive care nurses fired from their hospital jobs over their adult Web site says it's very likely that his clients' appeal to the hospital will end up in court.

Attorney Lawrence Walters says Scottsdale Healthcare Hospital has been under heavy media pressure in the case but the hospital is known to dislike media, settling malpractice claims quickly. And though he says enough such pressure could persuade the hospital to settle this case, a court date is more likely to result.

The hospital generally refuses to comment on personnel matters such as this, but it alleges George and Tracy Miller were fired for trying to recruit fellow hospital staffers to appear on their adult Web site, an allegation the Millers deny.

The appeal hearing between the Millers and the hospital is next week. The couple wants back pay and full reinstatement.

Meanwhile, the Millers say they are going into the adult web business full time, anticipating that they could make $100,000 a year doing so.

George Miller says that, since the firing, he has posted racy photographs of Tracy on 250 free adult sites, in addition to the site which cost them their jobs. The couple appeared on Howard Stern's radio show in late July, an appearance which turned into a reported all-time high of 48,000 hits on the Web site.

They say they began the site to raise money for their children's college education. And Stern is not the only media outlet who has followed the case. The Millers have also appeared on The CBS Morning News, Court TV, E!xtra, and Inside Edition so far. They have also been approached by the CBS magazine show, 48 Hours.
