Lana Roy Headlines Dorcel's 'A Lovely Au Pair'

PARIS—Dorcel continues its long-running Au Pair series with new installment A Lovely Au Pair, toplined by AVN Award-nominated Russian starlet Lana Roy and available now on DVD in the United States through Pulse Distribution

Directed by Franck Vicomte, the movie casts Roy as a free-spirited university student from Eastern Europe seeking work to finance her tuition. While she balks at most of the jobs she finds in the service industry, she feels attracted to the life of an "au pair"—she's charmed that the title comes from the French term au pair, meaning "at par" or "equal to," indicating that the working relationship is intended to be one of equals: an au pair is intended to become a member of the family, albeit a temporary one, rather than a traditional domestic worker.

With her impeccable references and beguiling personality, Roy is quickly hired by Shalina Devine and Kristof Cale, a wealthy couple with a reputation for taking good care of their employees. But despite having a seemingly perfect marriage, Devine and Cale each have their own secrets. And each knows that the other likes to have a good time with other partners. In an attempt to save their relationship, they allow themselves a fling every now and then—a lifestyle choice Roy is only too happy to facilitate.

Filling out the cast of A Lovely Au Pair are Linda Leclair, David Perry, Josh Jo and Totti.

"The Au Pair series is one of the most storied in the Dorcel canon," said Dorcel's U.S. publicist, Daniel Metcalf. "Early editions were helmed by such talented filmmakers as Fabien Lafait and Philippe Soine, and, more recently, Alis Locanta. Franck Vicomte has given us the newest installment, and he's found the perfect au pair in Lana Roy."
