CALI, Colombia—The organizers of Latin America Adult Business Expo, or LALExpo, plan to host a series of workshops in Colombia instead of a single convention in the coming year.
“We are decentralizing LALExpo, instead of bringing everyone into one huge event (5,174 attendees this year),” organizers said in their announcement. “We will conduct six workshops in different cities of Colombia throughout the year, each workshop planned for 1,000 attendees, so we will have LALExpo reach 6,000 attendees throughout the year in Colombia.”
In addition, LALExpo VIP will be hosted on the island of Curacao next year. The expo's LATAM 2023 Tour will also visit Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.
LALExpo, in partnership with Juan Bustos, will also launch a FanGirl Expo next year as an event focused on the adult content creation industry.
Although LALExpo 2022 was the last edition held in Colombia as a big scale event, the decision for this change of structure comes as a result of a strategic and aggressive expansion plan for LALExpo into new markets, with the intent of increasing the number of attendees and contributing to the industry’s growth and professional development.
The main highlights of the future events include:
• LALExpo Workshops in Colombia – Day-long event with a capacity of about 1,000 attendees. The main purpose of these events is the professional training of models and studios. Workshops will be held on Oct. 23 in Bogota, Nov. 20 in Bucaramanga, and Dec. 11 in Medellin.
• Fan Girl Expo 2023 - The first international expo for the adult content creation industry, which will be held from Feb. 7 to 9, 2023 in Medellín, with an estimated 2,000 – 3,000 attendees expected.
• LALExpo VIP 2023 – This is a new concept that seeks to create a truly intimate networking environment, which will focus on activities for the top companies and members of the webcam industry from around the world, including studios, models, affiliates and platforms.
